About Me

Haleh Amintoosi is an associate professor at the Department of Computer Engineering and the head of E-Learning Center at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, Iran . She is also a visiting senior lecturer at the School of Computer Science and Engineering, UNSW, Australia (since 2014), and a senior member of FUM CERT lab.    Haleh is also the co-founder of the FUM Blockchain Research lab.

Haleh Amintoosi obtained her B.Sc and M.Sc in computer engineering from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, Iran, in 2000, and 2003, respectively. She obtained her Ph.D. from the University of New South Wales, Australia in 2014. Her Ph.D. thesis topic was Trust and Privacy in Social Participatory Sensing.

 

Her main research interest focuses on computer networks and cybersecurity. In particular, she is interested in research at the intersection of networking and security. Her research areas include:

  • Security Protocols
  • Blockchain
  • Soft Security, Trust, and Privacy in Crowdsourcing and Crowdsensing Systems
  • Online Rating Systems, Collaborative Content Generation Systems
  • Security Issues in Internet of Things (IoT)
  • Queue Management and Scheduling in MPLS and DiffServ (Past interest)
